Kantor & Company is an elite salon located in the heart of downtown Boulder. We are expanding our team and seeking stylists of all levels to join us. Our goal is to offer a variety of service levels to our clients, ensuring each one leaves feeling better than when they arrived. We are passionate about individualized haircuts and colors and providing top-notch service.
Our Commitment:
Stylist Development: We believe in nurturing talent and provide a learning environment through mentorship and continuing education. All stylists are employees and benefit from the guidance of Owner and Master Stylist, Eileen Kantor, and our talented team.
Academy: Kantor & Company is not just a salon; it’s a hair academy dedicated to teaching the craft of hairstyling.
Immediate Needs:
Advanced stylists with knowledge of cuts, color, and styling
Entry-level stylists ready to learn and train
Men’s cuts, including clippers, scissor cuts, and fades
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Structure: Compensation is based on experience, clientele, and current licensure. Stylists receive the higher of an hourly wage ($16) or 45% commission of service totals plus tips.
Retail Commission: 10% of retail sales will contribute to an employee’s education fund once $200 in retail sales is reached per pay period. This fund can be used for supplies, work-related classes, bodywork, and other professional development expenses.

We encourage stylists of all levels, including those waiting on their license, to apply. Assistant positions are available for up-and-coming stylists.
